Will we ever forget about the minions???

As we all know, we have been a little well- OBSESSED with the movie Despicable Me.  We quote it, we joke about it, we find a way to relate math to it, we even made our own minions for the door.  Don't worry- the whole school was jealous!

Sorry, I couldn't pass up minions AND Twilight!!!!

I'm sure that you remember that super fantastic day when we had to make up for the fire.  I would have to guess that the make up day might have been one of the BEST days of school ever.  There are not many days when we sit back, relax, and have some serious fun. 

Leave it to the INCREDIBLE Miss Longshore, and her wonderful sista, to provide that fantastic fun! While I was stuck in meeting, the kids were having a blast! Check out Miss Longshore's blog to see the best tasting minons you have ever seen, and yes... I said tasting! :)

The Countdown has begun!

Yep, that's right! After today there is officially only 19 days of school left.  And school will be out for summer.  This will be a very BITTERSWEET day! So exciting because my second class of sixth graders will continue growing up and move on to the middle school! (tear) 

As my kiddos will be moving on to summer adventures, I will be moving on to my summer adventure as well!  I know that most of you know that I am moving to India for the summer.  I wanted to share with you my adventure blog so that you will be able to keep up to speed on my summer humanitarian projects.
