TERRIFIC TUESDAYS!

We had a great day at school today!

Be sure to ask you kids their thoughts about Inherited vs. Learned traits.  Some students were gone volunteering in the lunch room, but most should be able to fill you in!

Math has been a little tricky with the way the book wants the equations written- so that is one thing to keep in mind.  Otherwise I have to say that the kids have been FANTASTIC at doing math corrections and trying to get 100% on all their math homework!!!

Homework for the day:
-Read 20 minutes
-Final Draft of their Personal Narrative is due Thursday
-Math pg 25 all, 26 odds

-Don't forget Box tops, book orders, and a sweet Halloween costume for the Halloween parade next month!

NEWSFLASH!!!! There will no longer be any homework on Fridays- this is so you can read and spend time with your families!

Enjoy the sunshine!

September the 15th, also known as BEACH DAY!

Hey Parents and Students,

My deepest apologies about today and yesterday's blog.  Lots of after school meetings and crazy busy- so I apologize for missing a day! Well, enough about that!  We had a FANTASTICLY FUN DAY! With a DJ, water guns, water balloon volleyball, giant slip and slides, and so much more- how could it not be a good day!  I hope you all realize that you deserve this with how hard you worked on the CRT's last year.  We are going to have to work even harder this year to make our CRT goal for next year!

Due to our different schedule homework is a little different:

  • Read 20 minutes
  • No MATH HOMEWORK!!!
  • Study for vocabulary test
  • Study for spelling test

Enjoy the rest of your beautiful day!

Guten Tag!
